The GTXGN-15.6kV solid insulated ring main unit represents a new generation of environmentally friendly, composite-insulated technology developed exclusively by our company. This fully insulated, fully sealed power unit eliminates the need for SF6 gas, as all primary live components and switches are enclosed in a robust epoxy resin shell. Immune to external environmental conditions, the switchgear ensures high operational reliability, user safety, and maintenance-free performance.
Manufactured using the APG process, the solid-sealed pole integrates key current-carrying components—such as the vacuum interrupter and upper and lower outlet seats—into a single unit. The isolating switch is securely housed within the solid-sealed pole cavity, with solid insulation serving as the primary method for phase separation. The single-phase insulated busbar design reduces the risk of critical faults, such as phase-to-phase and grounding issues, while the expandable busbar system allows for unlimited addition of functional units.
This ring main unit offers a simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking, and straightforward installation, making it ideal for 50Hz/60Hz, 15.6/24 kV power systems. It is widely applicable in industrial and residential cable ring networks and distribution network terminals, providing efficient energy distribution for urban residential areas, compact substations, switching stations, cable branch boxes, box substations, industrial complexes, shopping centers, airports, subways, wind farms, hospitals, sports facilities, rail systems, tunnels, and other critical infrastructure.
Use Conditions
1. Generally operated/serviced under normal indoor conditions, in compliance with IEC 62271-1 and GB3906.
2. Ambient air temperature: -40℃~+40℃.
3. Relative air humidity: the daily average value is not greater than 95%, and the monthly average value is not greater than 90%.
4. The altitude is not more than 1500 meters.
5. The surrounding air should not be significantly polluted by dust, water vapor, salt spray, corrosive gases or flammable gases; the outdoor type can be used in harsh environmental conditions. Especially suitable for applications in plateau, coastal, alpine, high pollution and other areas.
6. There is no severe vibration at the installation site, and the earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees.
7. When the above usage environment conditions cannot meet the usage requirements, the user shall negotiate with the manufacturer.
