The EcoAir-HBX-15.6/24kV 630A series is a new generation of eco-friendly, “fluorine-free and low solid waste” circuit breaker switches and gas-insulated ring main units designed to replace traditional SF6 gas insulation systems. Developed with sustainability in mind, these environmentally friendly switches offer superior performance in medium-voltage distribution networks.
The design incorporates a high-strength, integrated longitudinal beam (pole), housing the vacuum interrupter within a streamlined structure. This innovative configuration ensures a simple assembly process, precise positioning, and reduced operating force for isolation. An epoxy fiberglass pull-rod provides high mechanical strength and exceptional insulation, while a zinc alloy bracket and cam mechanism facilitate precise opening and closing actions of the vacuum interrupter. Silicone sheds are added between phases to enhance creepage distance, boosting safety and reliability. The switches are compatible with both sealed air chamber ring main units and standard metal-enclosed ring main units.
Utilizing a unique combination of environmentally friendly gas insulation and vacuum breaking, these switches deliver high overall performance, unaffected by altitude and fully maintenance-free. The compact design requires minimal internal space, making it ideal for various applications in power grids, large-scale industries, rail transit, and commercial buildings.
These switches are optimized for 10-24kV medium voltage systems, ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor ring network configurations. The design supports flexible solutions for top and side expansion, with more than 90% parts commonality between upper and lower isolation setups. With high stability, strong adaptability, and full compliance with type test requirements, the EcoAir-HBX series sets a new standard in environmentally friendly switchgear.
Use Conditions
Normal environmental conditions:
1. Ambient temperature: maximum temperature +40℃; 24-hour average maximum temperature +35℃; minimum temperature -40℃.
2. Humidity: The maximum average relative humidity measured in 24 hours is 95%; the maximum average relative humidity measured in 1 month is 90%.
3. The maximum altitude of installation is 1500 meters without reducing the gas pressure. When the installation altitude exceeds 1500 meters, please contact pre-sales technology.
4. Operation must comply with the requirements of IEC62271-1 and GB3906 standards. For special operating conditions, the end user and the manufacturer must agree. If special harsh operating environments are involved, the manufacturer must be consulted. For example, when electrical equipment is installed at an altitude above 1,500 meters, the atmospheric pressure will decrease, causing the air box to bulge.
Product Maintenance
All components inside the EcoAir-HBX-24kV 630A are maintenance-free for the declared product life.
The isolation and grounding positions can be observed to provide safety guarantee for operation and cable construction.
The system loop is completely isolated from the atmosphere, and a special arc pressure relief channel is designed on the air box to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
The mechanical part is located outside the air box and behind the front panel, making it easier to operate and replace. The surface of the mechanical part has undergone anti-corrosion treatment, and its movable parts have been lubricated before leaving the factory, which can meet the use of the product life cycle. In extreme environments (dust, sand and dirt) inspection, maintenance and, in some cases, replacement may be necessary.
