The EcoAir-HBX-12/24kV 630A series represents a new generation of environmentally friendly, “fluorine-free and low solid waste” circuit breaker switches and gas-insulated ring main units designed as sustainable alternatives to traditional SF6 gas insulation.
This advanced circuit breaker switch features an integrated high-strength longitudinal beam that securely encases the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, offering a robust structure and streamlined assembly. The unit performs opening, closing, and grounding functions through a precise, integrated isolation spindle mechanism, with no external transmission arms, ensuring accurate positioning and reduced operational force. Constructed with an epoxy fiberglass trigger rod, the main shaft offers high mechanical strength and excellent insulation. The mechanism, facilitated by an alloy bracket and cam, provides reliable vacuum arc extinguishing. Silicone umbrella skirts are applied between phases to extend the creepage distance and enhance safety. This circuit breaker switch is compatible with both sealed air chamber and normal-pressure metal-enclosed ring main units.
Employing an eco-friendly combination of gas insulation and vacuum interruption, this unit delivers high overall performance. The primary circuit is completely gas-sealed, unaffected by altitude, maintenance-free, and highly adaptable to environmental conditions. Its compact cabinet design optimizes space, making it ideal for deployment in power grids, large industries, rail transit, and commercial buildings.
Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this product serves as an efficient ring network switch in 10-24kV medium voltage distribution systems for energy distribution. Its modular design supports top and side expansion as well as common box configurations (up to three units). The upper and lower isolation parts share more than 90% common components, ensuring high stability, strong versatility, and full compliance with type testing standards.

EcoAir-HBX-24kV/630A generally operates/serves under normal indoor conditions and complies with IEC 62271-1 and GB3906.
The specific conditions are as follows:

Special conditions:
Operation must comply with the requirements of IEC62271-1 and GB3906 standards. For special operating conditions, the end user and the manufacturer must reach an agreement. If special harsh operating environments are involved, the manufacturer must be consulted. For example, when electrical equipment is installed at an altitude above 1,500 meters, the atmospheric pressure will decrease, causing the air box to bulge.
Product Maintenance
All components inside the EcoAir-HBX-24kV 630A are maintenance-free for the declared product life.
The isolation and grounding positions can be observed to provide safety guarantee for operation and cable construction.
The system loop is completely isolated from the atmosphere, and a special arc pressure relief channel is designed on the air box to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
The mechanical part is located outside the air box and behind the front panel, making it easier to operate and replace. The surface of the mechanical part has undergone anti-corrosion treatment, and its movable parts have been lubricated before leaving the factory, which can meet the use of the product life cycle. In extreme environments (dust, sand and dirt) inspection, maintenance and, in some cases, replacement may be necessary.
