The ZW32 series automatic recloser is an outdoor AC high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker designed for three-phase AC 50Hz/60Hz applications in 10-35kV power distribution systems, ideal for both rural and urban power grids. Engineered to manage load, overload, and short-circuit currents, this versatile recloser is compliant with GB 1984 "AC High-Voltage Circuit Breaker" and IEC 60056 "High-Voltage AC Circuit Breaker" standards.
Featuring a robust three-phase pillar structure, the ZW32 recloser delivers stable and reliable interrupting performance, with advantages including a maintenance-free, compact design that is lightweight, explosion-proof, and offers extended service life. Its fully enclosed structure enhances sealing, making it highly resistant to moisture and condensation, which is especially beneficial in cold or humid environments.
Constructed from outdoor epoxy resin insulation coated with silicone rubber, the three-phase pillars and current transformers are resistant to extreme temperatures, UV radiation, and aging. The recloser's monostable permanent magnet mechanism minimizes power consumption and part complexity, housed in a sealed mechanism box to prevent corrosion and maximize operational reliability.
The recloser supports both manual and remote electrical operations, and can integrate with intelligent controllers for automated power distribution. When paired with recloser controllers, it can function as an automatic recloser or sectionalizer. Optional three-phase current transformers (600:1A or 800:1A) provide overcurrent and short-circuit protection, and six capacitive sensors can be added to gather voltage signals with a secondary output of 3.25V/√3.
With an intelligent controller, the ZW32 recloser offers automatic reclosing, as well as remote control, telemetry, remote signaling, and remote adjustment capabilities, making it an optimal solution for modern power distribution automation.
Recloser Controller
The recloser controller integrates microprocessing technology and modern network communication technology. It supports a variety of communication protocols and allows the selection of multiple communication methods to form a communication network. The switch can be operated locally manually or remotely, or remotely controlled through the communication network. If equipped with corresponding recloser or segmentation control device, it can be used as a recloser or segmentation device.
Use Conditions
1. Normal usage conditions:
a, Ambient air temperature: -40℃~+60℃;
b. Altitude: no more than 2,000 meters;
c. The surrounding air may be contaminated by dust, smoke, corrosive gases, steam or salt spray;
d. The wind speed does not exceed 34m/s (equivalent to 700Pa on the cylinder surface);
e. Vibration or ground motion from switchgear and control equipment can be ignored;
f. Pollution level: Level III.
2. Special conditions of use:
The recloser can be used under normal usage conditions different from those specified above. In this case, the user’s requirements should be negotiated with the manufacturer and a consensus should be reached. If the above normal usage conditions are exceeded, the user shall negotiate with the manufacturer.
